Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register?

Email us from the Contact Us page and we'll email enrollment forms. Return forms and check by snail mail to address listed on form.

Only FULL TUITION PAYMENTS will be accepted after JUNE 1st. If registering prior to June 1st, send either a $125 deposit or payment in full. Payment in full is due 2 weeks prior to enrolled session.

Can I register by the week or day?

Camps are Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm, no single day registrations.

How Do I register for AM and / or PM Care at THE ZONE?

Contact The ZONE at 281.317.7529. Tell them you are enrolled in ART CAMP and only want Extended Day Care with The Zone or you might be enrolled in their Extended Day Sports Camp by mistake. The Zone charges for their AM/PM care.

Zone counselors bring your AM care campers to us at 9am and we take them to PM care at 3pm. They are never left unattended. On Fridays pick up their week's artwork in our upstairs Art Room. Zone After Care does not have a place to store it.

When is the latest I can register?

Registration continues throughout the summer, the sooner you register the better as weeks do fill. Only FULL TUITION PAYMENTS will be accepted after June 1st.

Late Payments

Due to small class size, all weeks must be paid in full two weeks in advance to hold the spot. We do not accept late payments.

If a child is already attending and wants an additional week(s), if space permits, they can register even if it is less than 2 weeks away. The additional week(s) must be paid before their start date.

Extended Session: One time $20 discount if you sign up for 4 or more weeks at once.
Early Bird: $10 off if paid in full by April 15. Does not apply if a deposit is sent and the full balance is not received before APRIL 15th.
Sibling: $10 a week off every week the siblings attend the same session.

Are camp fees refundable if I have to cancel my enrollment?

Camp fees are non refundable. With 10 business days written notice a credit will be issued for use this summer or the following summer. There will be no refunds or credits with less than 10 business days notice.

What if a Camp Session has to be canceled?

Art Camp Adventures reserves the right to cancel a session due to insufficient enrollment. You can move your camper to a different week or receive a full refund including the deposit. We will make every effort to alert you to a cancellation as soon as possible. A session can be held with as few as 6 campers so cancellations are rare.

What if my Kindergartener wants to attend the camp?

We have chosen campers entering 1st grade based on the social needs and skill development of that age. Our expanded hours are too challenging for a child who has not completed kindergarten.

Is there a snack time?

We will provide a morning snack. We have a water fountain. If your child prefers a snack from home, feel free to send it. Please inform us if your child has any food allergies.

Do I send lunch each day?

Yes, Monday - Thursday please send a lunch and drink that do not need to be refrigerated. On Fridays we have FREE CHEESE PIZZA for our campers. If they don't eat pizza, please send a lunch.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child?

All parents or guardians must personally sign in and sign out their campers inside the camp room when coming or going. There is plenty of parking. We will not release your child to any unauthorized person not listed on your application. Send a note authorizing someone else to pick them up, if needed.

How should my child dress for camp?

In comfortable clothes that may get messy. While we provide art smocks, paint and glues have been known to find their way onto campers clothes.

We are not responsible for administering medication to children. Consult a pediatrician about altering the child's dosage so that medication can be administered outside of camp hours. If your child has a severe food allergy, please be advised we cannot control or monitor what snacks other children might bring to camp.

Handheld games, iPods and electronic devices may not be used during the camp day except during the break after lunch. We do not encourage bringing these devices. They are the sole responsibility of the camper. Art Camp Adventures will not be held responsible if they are broken, lost or stolen. Please do not send money with your child, they should bring their lunch from home.

We want art camp to be a positive social experience for everyone and encourage the campers to talk and have fun as they work. However, we reserve the right to contact parents if we encounter behavior that is continually disruptive to the class as a whole and cannot be resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather we will make every effort to contact you about camp closure as quickly as possible. If camp is closed due to inclement weather there will be no refunds or exchanges.
